Gas-Producing Fields and Gas Processing Facilities

Tanzania has emerged as one of East Africa’s most promising natural gas destinations, supported by significant onshore and offshore reserves, expanding infrastructure, and a strong commitment to sustainable industrial development. Projects such as the Gas production in Ntorya Gas and Mnazi Bay Gas Fields and the Madimba Gas Processing Facilities, all located in Mtwara Region, Southern Tanzania, demonstrate the country’s progress in harnessing natural resources to support energy security, industrialization, investment growth, and regional integration.

The visit to Tanzania’s strategic gas development areas offers delegates a unique opportunity to visit the gas producing fields and gas infrastructures.
